Emerging Technology Risks – Are You Prepared?
Date(s) - June 27th, 2017
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
We are at the beginning of what many are calling the “Fourth Industrial Revolution”, where it is expected that technology-based innovations will result in even more rapidly accelerating change and transformation. The opportunities for organizations to create value and provide services to clients are tremendous – and so are the risks. Organizations that successfully navigate this disruption will be those that identify and embrace the opportunities presented by technology, while effectively managing the associated strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks.
This session will provide an overview of the next generation of technology risk management practices in this new environment, and will discuss specific risks and risk management considerations with respect to a range of recent and emerging IT-related technologies (such as cloud and mobile computing, connected devices, and the blockchain).
