We are seeking a professional Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Business Law Group.

– Preparing and drafting legal documents
– Maintaining an efficient file management and bring forward system
– Maintaining calendars, managing emails and generally managing lawyer’s practices
– Interacting with clients
– Conducting searches
– Time entry, billing, general administrative tasks

– 1-2 years of experience working as a Legal Administrative Assistant in a law firm; or recent graduate from an LAA program
– Legal Administrative Assistant certification from an accredited institution
– Corporate experience an asset
– Strong administrative and written and verbal communication skills
– Strong detail orientation
– Ability to prioritize and multi-task
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment
– Excellent organizational skills
– Strong technology orientation
– Strong client service orientation
– Demonstrated commitment to privacy and ethical conduct
– A positive team orientation
