4 days a week in office - Vancouver office

Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP is currently seeking a Billing Support Clerk to work in our Vancouver office.  This position will appeal to candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment.  The primary responsibilities of the position are outlined below:

You will be focusing on: 

  • Providing billing support for the professionals
  • Finalizing all pro formas that have been prepared for billing
  • Liaising with Finance on all accounting exceptions (reversals/discounts), issues and errors
  • Resolving any billing issues that arise

What you bring to the role:

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ work experience in a similar position, preferably in the legal industry
  • Familiarity with flat fee billing
  • Proficiency in MS Office 2010
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
  • Detail-oriented, resourceful and good analytical ability
  • Good judgment and high degree of professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team
  • Possess a confident, proactive approach to work and thrive on working within a challenging legal environment while remaining calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of SAP software would be considered an asset

The salary bands provided reflect the typical range for this role in the region indicated. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of experiences and skills, and final compensation will be thoughtfully determined based on individual qualifications and current market factors.
