About the Role
This role combines legal expertise with account management responsibilities in a dynamic real estate crowdfunding environment. As a Paralegal & Account Manager, you will handle a range of legal drafting tasks, including preparing contracts, offering documents, and real estate filings. You'll also coordinate the due diligence process for real estate deals, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time. In addition to legal duties, you will manage investor relations, deliver updates, and respond to inquiries, helping maintain strong communication between investors and the platform. Strong organizational skills, real estate knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential to thrive in this fast-paced role.
What You’ll Do
Legal Drafting & Document Management:
- Draft legal documents such as resolutions, subscription agreements, offering memorandums, compliance materials, and proxy statements.
- Manage real estate and financing files, from due diligence through to closing, ensuring smooth document flow and accuracy.
- Prepare and finalize contracts, closing documents, and Land Title Office filings.
- Conduct title searches, gather and verify relevant documentation, and assist with security document preparation.
Due Diligence & Deal Coordination:
- Coordinate and manage the due diligence process, collecting and analyzing relevant information.
- Ensure all necessary steps are completed, information is accurate, and deals are ready for sign-off by the Head of Real Estate by set deadlines.
Client & Stakeholder Relations:
- Liaise with general partners, legal teams, and other key stakeholders throughout the deal process.
- Actively participate in our community, including engaging with members on Discord to share knowledge about real estate investments and answer questions.
Investor Account Management:
- Ensure timely delivery of property updates to investors and manage ongoing investor relations.
- Monitor and manage any follow-up communication related to legal entities, securities, and other investment-specific topics.
What you’ll Need
Experience & Skills:
- At least 2 years of paralegal experience, ideally with exposure to real estate, business, or related legal fields.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, capable of explaining complex legal and real estate concepts to stakeholders.
Technical & Industry Knowledge:
- Experience with legal drafting and document preparation.
- Ability to conduct thorough title searches and prepare security documents.
- Interest in utilizing Artificial Intelligence to streamline legal and account management tasks.
Personal Attributes:
- Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and within a team.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Flexibility to balance both legal and account management duties as needed.

Salary Range:
CAD $70,000 - $100,000
This is a reasonable estimate of the pay range at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
