As the year draws to a close, we are reaching out to our colleagues to see if anyone is interested in chairing and/or co-chairing the Facilities group starting in 2019. While we have really enjoyed our time in these roles, we both agree that some new fresh ideas to vitalize the group could be a great thing for the members. Please email me if you would like to nominate someone or if you would like to be added to the ballot. Of course you may contact us at any time if you have questions about what being a chair is all about – we would be happy to speak with any of you about the responsibilities.

Starting in 2019, we will also be putting forward a vote to moving to only 4 meetings a year. With all the subsections opening up their topics to others, there is a great variety of learning opportunities for everyone to attend.

Our September meeting will be to round table ideas for the next year, and to put out the ballots for the two above items. Please ensure you send me any chair nominations as soon as possible. We will run the vote using survey monkey, so that even those who aren’t able to attend September’s meeting will have a chance to vote. The results will be revealed in early October.

Roasted Chicken – Squash Farrotto, Brussel Sprouts, Red Wine Jus

Vanilla Hazelnut Tart – Hazelnut Cake, Vanilla Creme, White Chocolate Vanilla Ganache

Payment Information

Please make cheques of $50.50 ($48.20 + $2.40 GST) payable to BC Legal Management Association. Cheques may be mailed in advance to PO Box 75562, RPO Edgemont Village, North Vancouver, B.C. V7R 4X1 or brought to the meeting.
