Following our recent session on how to get started on a KM project, please join us as Shaunna Mireau shares tips and information about successful process improvement projects.
Knowledge Management in a law firm can take many forms and increasingly that form is assisting with a process improvement initiative. Whether it is tweaking the implementation of an existing technology, data capture processes that cross practice areas within the firm or methods for encouraging groups to share information, there are often ways to improve something that is already happening. How does a busy knowledge manager choose what project to tackle first? How do you ensure that a selected project can be nimbly and strategically executed. This interactive, webinar format presentation will cover some Lean Six Sigma style process improvement methods to assist with narrowing a project so that it can be selected and improvements can be quickly implemented.
Shaunna Mireau is a Legal Information Specialist and Six Sigma Black Belt with over 25 years of experience in assisting lawyers. She is currently the Vice President for the Canadian Association of Law Libraries her semi-retirement passion project. Shaunna believes that law librarians make firms smarter and more efficient. She writes and consults from Alberta.
