The Knowledge Management subsection welcomes all BCLMA members to a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, April 6 from 12-1pm. We are delighted to have author and CanLII President and CEO, Sarah Sutherland, join us over Zoom to discuss her new book, Legal Data and Information in Practice: How Data and the Law Interact. Sarah, a former Vancouver law firm library manager and former BCLMA KM subsection chair herself, will focus on the aspects of her book relating to law firms, and lead a discussion about how law firm libraries in particular, can collect legal data, interpret that data, and apply it the law firm setting.

We encourage participants to read her book in advance of the session to fully benefit from the discussion. Sarah’s book can be purchased here:  You can use the code FLR40 for 20% off if you order the book on the publisher’s site.

Please register before April 5, 2022. A Zoom link will be distributed to registrants in advance of the session.
