The Small Firms Subsection is thrilled to announce a virtual event with guest speaker, Dr. Heidi Gardner a distinguished Harvard Fellow and Best Selling Author. We are pleased to offer this FREE event to the entire BCLMA membership.
Dr. Gardner will teach and share her insights on the topic of “Success Through Smart Collaboration”.
The meeting will be held virtually Tuesday, October 20, 2020, at 12:30 pm. Zoom link will be provided 48 hours before the event. Be sure to attend, as we will be giving away 5 copies of Dr. Gardner’s book, “Smart Collaboration: How Professionals and Their Firms Succeed by Breaking Down Silos” to attendees.
Dr. Heidi K. Gardner, PhD, is a Distinguished Fellow at Harvard Law School and Faculty Chair in the school’s executive programs. Previously she was a professor at Harvard Business School. Dr. Gardner’s book “Smart Collaboration: How Professionals and Their Firms Succeed by Breaking Down Silos” became a Washington Post bestseller.
Named by Thinkers50 as a Next-Generation Business Guru, Dr. Gardner co-founded the research and advisory firm Gardner & Co. Dr. Gardner has authored more than seventy books, chapters, case studies, and articles. Her books include Smart Collaboration for In-House Legal Teams (2020), Leadership for Lawyers (2nd edition, 2019), and Smart Collaboration for Lateral Hiring (2018).
Dr. Gardner has lived and worked on four continents, including as a Fulbright Fellow, and for McKinsey & Co. and Procter & Gamble. She earned her BA in Japanese from the University of Pennsylvania (summa
cum laude; Phi Beta Kappa), a Masters degree from the London School of Economics (with distinction),
and second Masters and PhD from London Business School.
We are excited to learn from Dr. Gardner, a first-time presenter to the BCLMA, and look forward to seeing you all there.
