Alice Davidson is the Vice-President and General Counsel at Mogo – a financial technology company offering a finance app that empowers consumers with simple solutions to help them get in control of their financial health. Prior to her role at Mogo, she was an associate in the Corporate/Securities group at Stikeman Elliott LLP. Alice has supported Mogo from a legal & compliance perspective in the launch of all six of Mogo’s current products and in its expansion across Canada. She serves as Mogo’s Chief Anti-Money Laundering Officer and Privacy Officer.
Nicola-Jane McNeill is the former Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Impark. She led a seven-member corporate Legal Department, responsible for overseeing budget and legal expenditures, managing relationships with external counsel, administering contract negotiations and managing processes and developing systems for efficient service delivery.
As General Counsel and Chief Corporate Development Officer, Lisa Skakun is responsible for all legal, corporate development, public affairs and corporate governance-related functions at Coast Capital Savings. In 2017 she was a recipient of the Lexpert Zenith Award: Celebrating Women in Law and in 2015 was named to Canada’s Diversity 50 list by the Canadian Board Diversity Council. She is also the recipient of the Association of Women in Finance’s PEAK award for “Rising Star” and the National Post Award for “Tomorrow’s Leader” at the Western Canada General Counsel Awards.
Kieran Moore is a director on the legal team at lululemon, since May 2013. During this time, lululemon has quickly grown to be one of the world’s most iconic and valuable brands. Kieran is responsible for guiding lululemon’s global intellectual property protection and litigation. He is the past chairperson of the Fashion Industry Group of the International Trademark Association, and leads lululemon’s Fit to Practice, which brings lawyers and law students together to sweat and explore mindfulness in connection with legal practice.
