We are currently seeking a Billing Administrator to join our busy and fast-paced Vancouver Office. The successful candidate will provide billing and in addition, may provide back-up support for the Accounts Payable function as it pertains to Client Disbursements for the firm’s Billing services.

Your primary responsibilities:

  • Finalize and cancels invoices
  • Deal with billing issues/ speciality billing/ e-billing
  • Billing expert and trouble shooter
  • Liaise with software support for system issues
  • Provide billing training for Legal Assistants and Accounting Orientation for new hires
  • Assist with the year-end audit as required
  • Manage the regional month end/year end processes and ensures all work for location is complete for period close
  • Monitor staff personal accounts enquiries
  • Prepare Client charges related to anticipated disbursements
  • May be required to provide back-up assistance to other team members in the Accounting Department and is considered to be the team leader in the functional accounting area
  • Assist with special projects, perform related administrative, clerical and other duties as assigned
  • Works with National team and other regions on billing issues and projects
