Real Estate Lawyer (Langley office)

Work in beautiful Langley with the resources of a mid-sized firm and an office in downtown Vancouver.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate lawyer to join a thriving and established corporate practice with tremendous potential for growth and expansion in the Fraser Valley and Vancouver.
The successful candidate will have strong experience and skills in real estate law to thrive in this fast-paced environment and meet the service standards of our valued clients. We are seeking someone who takes pride in their work and brings exceptional client care and a highly professional approach to client needs. You are an organized, multi-tasker, who takes an interest in our clients’ matters.
Bringing an existing client base, although an asset, is not a requirement. The right candidate would have support to grow their practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional value in a diverse corporate commercial practice advising on various real estate transactions, drafting and reviewing contracts, and providing sound business advice
- Creating and reviewing legal documents, including Agreements of Purchase and Sale, leases, and closing documents
- Offering legal guidance on zoning laws, land use regulations and contractual obligations
- Act as a trusted legal advisor to entrepreneurial and owner-operator clients
- Be resourceful and possess the passion and creativity of an entrepreneur
- Effectively manage a busy practice ensuring timely responsiveness to client needs
- Provide innovative solutions that advance client goals and interests while protecting against legal risks
- Strive for service excellence and continuous improvement
- Possess interest, ability or experience to retain clients and develop new business
Qualifications
- 8+ years of practice in BC and in good standing with the Law Society of BC
- Excellent analytical skills, business sense, professionalism, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both internal and external professionals
- Results driven, analytical, self-motivated and detail oriented with the ability to logically identify solutions or approaches to issues
We offer a salary range of $150,00.00 - $250,00.00, depending on experience. Candidates who possess 8+ years of real estate experience, high client service standards and an entrepreneur spirit are encouraged to seek more information about this opportunity.
