What you can expect:

We currently have an opening in our Langley office for a Records Clerk with a specialized focus in Personal Injury. This role requires an individual who is organized, effective at multi-tasking and detail oriented, with strong communication and people skills. Depending on experience and knowledge, the core responsibilities of the role will be, but not limited to:

  • Opening new files and preparing files for closing
  • Document requests
  • Preparing cheque requests
  • Organizing file related correspondence
  • Calling in Trials
  • Communicating with clients, opposing counsel, etc.
  • Organization of mail
  • Scheduling client appointments
  • Scanning and filing
  • Other administrative duties as required

What you bring to the table:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional office environment
  • A Legal Assistant Certificate from an accredited post-secondary institution would be deemed an asset
  • Proficient with MS Word and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work in independently and in a team environment
