About You

We are looking for an IT Support to join our team and work under the direction of the IT Lead. This is a full-time permanent position that will provide you with the opportunity to gain experience and grow within a collaborative team.

Primary Responsibilities

  • First contact for user support for employees
  • Liaison with IT lead to resolve and escalate beyond first level issues
  • Support all user software
    • Office (365) suite of applications, including deployment, upgrading, customizing, and troubleshooting
    • Office 365 support for Excel, PowerPoint, Word use
  • Support network and server infrastructure
  • Support office hardware, desktops, phone system, copiers, and printers
    • AV and IT equipment setups for boardrooms
  • IT systems support for Azure, Active Directory, VMware, SAN technology, Group policy, etc.
  • Support user/workstation moves and changes; setup for desktops and install applications
  • Support with new hire training for IT systems

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in a technical support role or similar,
  • Graduation from an institute of technology with a two-year diploma in Computer Science or related discipline, with Microsoft certifications.
  • Experience in a law firm or legal setting is considered an asset
  • Strong time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills and ability to work under pressure to meet important deadlines
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Adobe, as well as an ability to learn new systems quickly

Knowledgeable in:

  • Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows 10/11
  • VMware
  • Storage Area Network Administration
  • Network switches
  • Microsoft 365; Tenant Administration, Azure AD, MFA
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Exchange Online
  • Microsoft Office Suite
