McEwan Partners is a leading boutique litigation firm in Downtown Vancouver founded by a group of industry-recognized litigators. Our practice is primarily in commercial, securities and public law, at trial and appellate levels.
We take pride in providing excellent customer service and are currently looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our firm. The successful candidate will be a team player, great multi-tasker, reliable, energetic, highly motivated, and enjoy the variety of work that comes with the small firm model.
Responsibilities
- Greets clients and guests of the firm in a friendly and professional manner.
- Ensures a positive first impression to visitors.
- Maintains a neat and organized presentation of the reception desk and surrounding area.
- Answers and directs all incoming calls to the appropriate recipient and responds professionally to any general inquiries.
- Maintains a neat and organized presentation of all boardrooms and prepares the boardrooms as needed for meetings.
- Processes all incoming/outgoing mail and couriers.
- Responsible for external storage facilities and the tracking of boxes.
- Arranges conference calls and videoconferencing as needed.
- Tracks daily attendance and updates the absentee report.
Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years previous office reception experience, asset if within the legal field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong computer and technical skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
- Positive, friendly and professional demeanor; dedicated to providing service beyond expectations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to take initiative, prioritize, multitask, and consistently meet set timelines.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, including working well under pressure and balancing competing demands.
Compensation
- McEwan Partners offers a competitive compensation and benefits package as well as a diverse and supportive work environment.
- The base annual salary range for candidates with the required experience is $45,000 to $55,000.
