We are seeking a skilled and proactive Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic, fast-paced legal practice. You will play a crucial role in managing and assisting with foreclosure, receivership and insolvency matters generally.

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

1. Preparing and filing foreclosure petitions and related notices of application, and other legal documents.

2. Diarizing proceedings, following up on service of materials and setting matters for hearings.

3. Managing files and ensure compliance with deadlines and court requirements.

4. Communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to coordinate and communicate progress and issue resolution.

5. Drafting correspondence, pleadings, and other legal documents.

6. Maintaining and organizing files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up to date.

Here is what you bring to the team:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with experience in foreclosure law and some insolvency law.

2. Strong understanding of foreclosure processes and related legal terminology.

3. Ability to manage a heavy workload and handle complex tasks with general supervision.

4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and reviewing legal documents.

5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

6. Ability to prioritize and work under pressure while meeting deadlines.

7. Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications and PDF software.

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 and is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including an RRSP Matching Program.
