Description
We are currently recruiting for an intermediate Legal Administrative Assistant to join our firm in Richmond. This is an employment law role in on our litigation team and will suit someone who is a self-starter with three or more years experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- File openings and closings
- Scheduling phone/zoom meeting appointments
- Basic follow up emails to clients
- Editing and emailing invoices
- Assembling of documents
- Conducting searches
- Filing, copying and scanning
- Other administrative duties as needed
The ideal candidate will have:
- Graduate of a Legal Administrative Assistant program
- 3 or more years of experience in a law office
- Excellent English oral and written skills
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Document Management Systems (Worldox)
- Keen eye for detail, solid organizational skills, and proactive
- Service oriented, adaptable, reliable and dependable
- Professional work ethic and great attitude
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Maintains confidentiality and discretion
