Citadel Law Corporation (“CLC”) is a small and close-knit law firm with its head office in Vancouver.  We are seeking a lawyer with the personality and skill set that fits with our team dynamic and style of practice.

We operate differently to most law firms.  Many law firms focus only on the law – we focus on the law and the business of law.  That ensures we excel not only in our chosen areas of practice but operate our business in a flexible and adaptive manner. If you are looking for something other than a traditional law firm setting/structure, then this position could be for you.

CLC’s main practice areas include real property litigation, strata property law, residential tenancy, insurance defense and general commercial litigation.

We are primarily a litigation firm – we operate in all levels of BC Courts and numerous tribunals including the Civil Resolution Tribunal, Residential Tenancy Board, Human Rights Tribunal and the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner, amongst others.

We hire primarily on a strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit.

What We Need

• A member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia with a minimum of 1-3 years experience practicing law in BC;  
• Entrepreneurial approach/attitude;  
• Dedicated, driven and comfortable practicing in new areas of law with a willingness to learn;
• Strong problem solving, time management, and prioritization skills;
• Excellent writing/communication skills;
• Able to take direction and work independently with little or no supervision;
• Work as a member of the CLC team, be proactive and ask for assistance as required;
• Ability to adapt and be flexible; and
• Comfortable in a faced paced, high-volume practice.
