Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of Family Law files, including client consultations, pleadings, discovery, mediations, and trials
- Provide sound legal advice and practical solutions to clients
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across practice areas to support clients’ broader legal needs
- Participate in firm initiatives, professional development, and community engagement activities
- Uphold, promote and demonstrate our Firm core values, Integrity, Excellence and Innovation
Qualifications
The newest member of our team will have:
- More than 4 years of Family Law experience, preferably in BC; we are open to considering candidates with experience in other provinces
- LLB or JD and be a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia (or able to apply)
- Strong communication skills, self-motivated and organized
- A breadth and depth of legal knowledge and excellent business judgment
- Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills
- Energy and motivation to work independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to the highest standards of integrity, client service, and collegiality
