Current Position Available: LAA – Class Action
Job duties:
• manage file progression including obtaining relevant documentation and managing settlement process
• draft, file and serve pleadings and application materials
• legal research
• Chambers and Trial preparation
• Point of contact for clients, including obtaining information regarding their claim
• monitor and diarize limitation dates
Qualifications & Requirements:
• LAA Diploma as well as 3-5 years of experience in litigation
• Superior organizational/document management skills with a strong attention to detail
• Fact investigation, analysis and problem-solving abilities
• Computer knowledge including MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Internet, Case Management Software
• Advanced knowledge of database management
• Research and legal analysis skills
• Ability to manage work responsibilities in an unstructured environment
• Independent with the ability to confidently make judgment calls and recommendations
• Ability to prioritize tasks and execute deliverables in a timely manner
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Sound business judgment including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
• Professional temperament, including the ability to remain calm under difficult circumstances

The typical salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually; the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
