Description

We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Analyst to join our firm. This position reports directly to the Compliance Officer and works closely with the Accounting and IT departments.

Responsibilities:

Assisting with the Matter Opening process from start to finish, including:

  • Working with lawyers and Legal Assistants (LAAs) to ensure data is accurately and efficiently entered into 3E.
  • Conducting corporate and property searches.
  • Running conflict searches and delivering results to appropriate parties.

Administering ethical walls:

  • Corresponding with LAAs, paralegals, and lawyers to assess and respond to Ewall requests.
  • Initiating and removing Ewalls across all databases, as needed.

Assisting with the Matter Maintenance process, including:

  • Working with LAAs and the Billing / Marketing teams to ensure accounting and marketing data is accurately and efficiently entered into 3E.
  • Assisting with Client Identification and Verification processes.

Assisting with file closing processes from start to finish, including:

  • Working with LAAs to confirm the status of files and prompting action on outstanding matters to facilitate effective matter closing.
  • Executing the file closing processes in all databases.
  • Removing / deleting / storing records as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication, investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Education and/or experience in compliance and/or legal professional services.
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology tools.
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • A high level of professionalism, discretion, and adaptability.
  • A collaborative spirit and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.

Compensation:

  • AHBL offers a competitive salary ranging from $55,000 to $75,000. We also offer a variety of benefits, including:
