Associate Lawyer

Mussio Goodman LLP specializes in personal injury and estate litigation. We are seeking a lawyer to join our legal team in the personal injury department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in estate litigation.

Duties:

- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues

- Draft legal documents including agreements, and pleadings

- Represent clients in court proceedings or negotiations, including trial

- Provide legal advice and guidance on legal matters

- Collaborate with colleagues to strategize on cases

- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations

Experience:

- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

- Admitted to the bar of the Province of British Columbia

- Ideally 1 year call

- Proven experience in legal practice, preferably in personal injury 

- Strong proficiency in legal research tools

- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to communicate effectively

- Demonstrated ability in legal drafting and writing
