About the speaker:

Richard B. Johnson, CPHR, is a Co-Founder and Partner at Ascent Employment Law, practising exclusively in employment and human rights law. Known for his practical and solutions-focused approach, Richard works with both employers and employees to navigate challenging workplace issues with fairness and respect.

Richard holds an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Investigations from Osgoode Hall Law School at York University and has extensive experience conducting and guiding workplace investigations. His experience as both an advocate and investigator allows him to bring a practical understanding of the legal, procedural, and interpersonal challenges that can arise throughout the investigation process.

In addition to his practice, Richard serves on the Board of Directors of the Lawyers Assistance Program of British Columbia.
