Allen / McMillan Litigation Counsel is hiring an eDiscovery Paralegal to lead our firm’s eDiscovery processes.

What the role entails:
· Working closely with one of our senior, tech-savvy lawyers in a traditional support role
· Leading our firm’s eDiscovery processes with support from our current eDiscovery paralegal
· Working closely with other lawyers and staff assisting them with all aspects of the document collection, processing, review and production processes
· Using litigation support and eDiscovery software (Everlaw)
· Preparing lists of documents
· Reviewing, summarizing, and organizing documents for discoveries and trial
· Helping prepare for examinations for discovery, applications, and trial
· Communicating with other team members, clients, opposing counsel and external vendors on eDiscovery and other file matters
· Advising our team and clients on eDiscovery strategies
· Helping with initiatives to improve our firm’s eDiscovery processes, checklists, templates and workflows
Our ideal candidate:
- Is willing to work full-time and primarily in-office, with some flexibility.
- Has 3-5 years of experience in an eDiscovery role with a strong understanding of both eDiscovery software and litigation processes.
- Our firm uses Everlaw as its eDiscovery software. Although direct experience with this software is not needed, preference will be given to candidates with an eDiscovery certification and clear proficiency with another eDiscovery program.
- All candidates should be tech-savvy, with a strong working knowledge of legal software as well as Microsoft 365 software including Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
Compensation:
