Morton Law LLP is an established corporate and securities law firm which emphasizes a professional and supportive work place. The firm offers our paralegals the opportunity to increase their knowledge & technical skills through in-house training.
The successful candidate's primary responsibility will be to assist the legal team with document preparation and file management, including corporate documents, stock exchange and regulatory filings, SEDAR, and correspondence with clients, counsel and regulators.
Requirements:
Minimum 1+ year of experience in a law firm
Experience in Corporate or Securities an asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Attention to detail
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Education:
Paralegal certificate or diploma from a recognized institution
Salary will be commensurate with experience
