Watson Goepel LLP is a growing and dynamic multi-service law firm based in downtown Vancouver additional offices located in West Vancouver & Calgary, Alberta. We are looking for a Corporate Services Clerk to join our Corporate Services Department in our Vancouver office.  This position reports to the Corporate Services Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly billing for the Corporate Services department, including annual maintenance billing
  • Prepare reports for annual maintenance and review returned annual reports
  • Prepare and send reminders to clients
  • Handle all incoming mail for the corporate records department
  • Draft routine correspondence
  • Perform conflict searches
  • Conduct BC Online searches
  • Filing annual maintenance
  • Update MinuteBox database
  • Other tasks as required
  • Assist with overflow work as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited Legal Administrative Assistant or Administrative Assistant program
  • Experience working in a law firm or office environment an asset
  • Interest in corporate law
  • Previous corporate experience is an asset
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel), Adobe, MinuteBox & iManage
  • Ability to use critical thinking while problem-solving
  • Comfortable using step stools/small ladders and lift 10 lbs.

  • Always presents a professional image and acts as a firm ambassador

Hours:
Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (35 hours a week)
