We are currently seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Legal Assistant to support our attorneys. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of litigation experience and possess strong attention to detail, proactivity, and the ability to manage a dynamic workload. Creative problem-solving, adaptability, and flexibility to work occasional overtime on short notice are essential.

Job Description:
- Assist attorneys in managing litigation cases from inception to resolution.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery requests.
- Maintain attorney calendars, scheduling court appearances, meetings, and deadlines.
- Conduct legal research using various resources to support case preparation and strategy.
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files, ensuring all documents are accurately filed and readily accessible.
- Assist with the organization, review, and production of discovery materials.
- Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and other materials necessary for trial proceedings.
- Perform general administrative duties including scanning, photocopying, file management, etc.
- Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and other legal assistants to meet case deadlines and objectives.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
Requirements:
- Legal Administrative Assistant Certification from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience as a legal assistant in a litigation practice is required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic legal setting.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
