Description

Pacific Law Group is a highly regarded and leading law firm with a range of practice areas. We have secured numerous noteworthy results at both trial and appellate levels of court. We pride ourselves on exceptional client service in a friendly work environment. Our offices are close to the Vancouver Courts in downtown Vancouver, with advanced technology and support services.

We are seeking an experienced Paralegal who is a graduate of a recognized Paralegal program and who has a minimum of six years of experience in civil litigation, preferably with an emphasis on injury insurance defence claims. This is an in-office position for either a 4 or 5 day work week. After 6 months, there may be the option to work 1 day a week from a home office.

The ideal candidate is someone who works well both independently and on a team, has strong Microsoft Office, organizational, and drafting skills, and enjoys a challenging and interesting file load that provides an opportunity to excel in one’s career.

We take a team approach with a lawyer, an LAA, and a paralegal on each file, with additional support provided by our Office Services Department and our accounting department. This enables paralegals to work principally on paralegal rather than administrative assistant tasks.

We offer an attractive salary and benefits package, commensurate with level of experience. Additionally, there is a generous productivity bonus for those who exceed the annual billing expectation of 1200 hours (which all our paralegals find they can exceed). Although exceeding that expectation is not required, some of our paralegals receive up to an additional $20,000 to $30,000 a year as a productivity bonus.
