We are seeking a Senior Family Law Counsel with a minimum of 10 years’ call, who brings deep expertise in family law and a demonstrated commitment to client advocacy. This is a leadership role ideal for a practitioner who values collaboration, mentorship, and strategic thinking—someone ready to make meaningful contributions to both clients and colleagues.
 
Your Role:
 
You will play a pivotal role in shaping our firm’s family law practice, representing clients in a broad range of matters including:
  • Divorce, parental arrangements, spousal support, property and pension division
  • Negotiating settlements to achieve client-focused outcomes
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents with precision and clarity
  • Leading complex litigation with confidence and strategic foresight
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior associate
  • Maintaining high standards of legal ethics, organization, and client care
What We’re Looking For:
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia
  • 10+ years of experience in family law with a strong litigation and negotiation background
  • A natural leader who thrives in a collaborative, respectful team environment
  • Exceptional communicator with strong drafting, research, and client-relations skills
