    Cost: $0.00

    Location: Via Zoom

    Overview:

Please join us for a session with Helen from Sitka Physiotherapy, as she will involve us in a discussion about structural anatomy, to improve body awareness when working at home or in the office. Specific parameters around equipment placement, and possible modification is covered in order to best support an optimal body position. Movement strategies/exercises are described, demonstrated, and emphasized as key factors for mitigation of repetitive strain injuries associated with desk work. Pro’s/Con’s of sitting/standing at the workstation are discussed. Emphasis is placed on the employee being accountable for their health (as opposed to relying on a specific equipment).

This will be a great session as we deal with the transition of staff returning to the workplace, as some may have adjusted to their home setup vs an office setup.

It will be a session of interaction of participant engagement via “chat box” and/or direct questions will be encouraged.

Please join us as registration is limited.
