Have you ever met someone with a commanding presence and wondered how they were so confident
and self assured? They walk into a room and people notice. When they talk, people listen.

Presence is one of those things that it’s hard to define, but we know it when we see it. It’s about
connecting through effective communication and showing your true self in the moments that matter.

People with presence act with intention. They adapt. They show their authenticity through what they say and do. They not only look confident and comfortable, but they can speak clearly and persuasively, even under pressure.

The truth is, anyone can learn to how to feel confident with some subtle shifts in our minds and bodies. It’s not an all-or-nothing proposition, because presence is a building block of leadership, no matter what your title or position is.

In this session, you’ll learn specific tips and techniques to help you feel ready and confident when it’s
your time to speak. With a little bit of courage and practice, you too can ignite your leadership
presence and make a big impact.

From this session, participants will learn how to:
• Show up and communicate authentically under pressure for maximum influence and impact.
• Control your nerves, and negative self-talk so you can show up and be your best self when the
pressure is on.
• Dial into your non-verbal communication so you can communicate persuasively and positively.
• Customize your message and approach for maximum impact with your audience
• The #1 tip to regain your confidence when you find yourself slipping under pressure

Facilitator: Diane A. Ross

Diane is a certified executive coach, professional leadership mentor, facilitator, and difficult
conversations expert. For over 15 years Diane has been teaching leaders and individual contributors
how to communicate with confidence, poise, and power. She has trained in Difficult Conversations, and
mediation at Harvard Law School.

Through her one-on-one coaching and workshops, she uses a wide variety of tools and interactive
activities to guide clients and learners towards changing their thinking and taking a more effective
approach towards communication.

Diane partners with clients to uncover their needs and can customize programs designed to help them
achieve their specific personal or organizational goals. She is a Gallup certified Strengths Coach with
extensive experience coaching individuals and teams through strengths-based leadership development.

Health & Safety Protocols in place & lots of spacing been members.

The Terminal City Club is governed by the Health Authority and will require all guests attending the event to show your vaccination card and personal identification. Masks must be worn at all times  unless seated for lunch.
