  • Succession Planning: Building your bench strength. Who’s next in line?

    Date: March 11, 2021

    Cost: $0.00

    Location: Via Zoom

    Overview:

Please join us for our March 11th session where we will be joined by Sofia Arisheh of Upskill Consulting for a discussion on “Succession planning: Building your bench strength. Who’s next in line?”

We have all been there! Someone leaves our firm and we then scramble to find a replacement. Instead of taking on a reactive approach to talent, it’s time we begin to build our internal talent pipeline to better plan for future development and ultimately meet long-term needs. Succession planning allows us to more methodically and strategically prepare for our future of leaders and build pools of highly skilled individuals. Building a robust succession plan takes time but the benefits are well worth it. In our changing landscape, firms who provide enhanced skill and career development opportunities for emerging leaders, will ultimately drive greater performance, engagement and retention of top talent.

Sofia will walk you through the importance of succession planning and a six-step framework to build a robust succession plan across various positions within your firms.

    In this workshop, you will:

    • Define succession planning
    • Recognize the importance of succession planning in our industry and changing landscape
    • Understand the six-step framework in building a talent pipeline and robust succession plan

    Overview:

Please join us for our March 24th for open discussion on ‘‘ The Future of the workplace ’’

Are you struggling to adapt your firm to the evolving workplace? We all know the purpose of the office workplace is changing. In this session Dan Boram of AURA will be sharing the new work space trends, the changes emerging in the legal space and possibility of immediate and long-term space impacts for the legal sector and returning to the workplace. In working with most of Vancouver’s law firms over the years, AURA has followed the journey and gained a lot of insight on this topic.

     MEET DAN BORAM, AURA’S CEO

“The design of your firm will determine its distinctive atmosphere of energy. Today, everyone wants an answer to the question, How will our office function after the pandemic now that we’ve learned how to work from home? This is not a one-size-fits-all. Every firm needs to develop it’s own strategy, AURA has a proven scientific process for this.”

“Further to this, we design, build, and furnish offices that reflect prestigious brands, state-of –the-art millennial workplaces, and comfortable business environments that promote collaboration.”
