    Ronda Smyth and I are very excited about the upcoming year.  We have already begun to brainstorm about interesting topics and speakers for 2019, that we think will be of interest and good value to our Subsection’s membership.

    To that end, we would like to invite you to attend our Small Firms Subsection Round Table on Thursday, October 25, 2018.  We will hold the session at HHBG Lawyers, located at #1918 – 1030 W. Georgia Street, Vancouver.


    Please note that the deadline to register is Monday, October 22, 2018, at noon.

    As some of you may know, November is election month for the BCLMA.  As Ronda and I feel like we just got started in 2018 co-chairing this Subsection, we are amenable to continue to co-chair together for the 2019 term, should there be no objection.  With that said, at the next meeting, we will reaffirm this, and also look at succession planning for the next Chair/Co-Chair.  Please think about it and perhaps consider throwing your hat in to Chair for the 2020 term.

    Unless there are any objections to Ronda and I continuing to hold the reins for Small Firms, we will continue our work with the BCLMA and look forward to seeing you at the next meeting on October 25, at HHBG.
