Session description:

By now, you have likely heard the buzz about AI and generative language tools like ChatGPT. Whether you’ve rolled up your sleeves and jumped in or have some curiosity but no real understanding of the risks associated with using AI, this session is for you.  In this workshop, Stephanie will break down these AI tools so you can understand what they can—and can’t—do. Next, we’ll explore the top risks and questions you should consider to ensure compliance with the professional rules governing businesses and law firms. Finally, she’ll give you real world examples of how every law firm can start using these tools to complete work faster and better. You’ll leave with a better understanding of these tools and armed with prompts and examples of how to start using them.

A meeting link will be circulated to all attendees in advance of the event.

Speaker:  Stephanie Everett , Chief Executive Officer – Lawyerist

Stephanie understands what it’s like to practice law and run a business. She started her career at a big law firm before co-founding her own real estate litigation firm. As the managing partner, Stephanie watched her firm grow from two lawyers to a team of twenty people in just seven years.

Her passion for running a business led her to pursue coaching and consulting so she could help other lawyers who work hard, but often felt stuck in their business. Stephanie leads team Lawyerist and coaches lawyers on how to grow and sustain healthy businesses. She hosts The Lawyerist Podcast and is a co-author of the best-selling book, The Small Firm Roadmap Revisited.
