Is your firm in compliance with pay transparency requirements and reporting deadline?
B.C.’s Pay Transparency Act is already in force, and the obligations are expanding. If your B.C. business had 50 or more employees as of January 1, 2026, you must prepare and publicly post your first pay transparency report by November 1, 2026.
Join Ascent Co-Founder and Partner, Richard B. Johnson and Designated Paralegal, Megan Stratikopoulos, for informative and practical guidance on what the Act requires for your firm, common pitfalls to avoid, and how to get your organization in order with confidence. We’ll cover key requirements, including:
- Pay transparency reporting
- Compliant job postings
- Restrictions on pay history inquiries
- Practical steps to reduce risk while managing employee questions effectively.
