Commodity Tax Update – PST Decision Matrix
Date: Thursday, Nov 27, 2025
Time: 12:00pm
Location: Terminal City Club, 837 West Hastings Street, Vancouver BC
Please join us for the PST Decision Matrix seminar presented by Thomas D. Ciz, an Associate Counsel in the Tax Practice Group of Farris LLP.
This session describes some fundamental principles of PST and presents a decision matrix that can be used to determine whether PST applies to a particular supply of legal services and, if so, the appropriate rate of PST to be applied. Â
During this session, several different factual scenarios will be presented to help participants learn how to apply the decision matrix. It is hoped that when participants leave the session, they will be able to apply the decision matrix whenever they are asked to open a new file and code it properly for PST purposes. Â
