Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager of eDiscovery and Legal Technology to lead our paraprofessional team. This role involves overseeing a small team of paraprofessionals, managing complex eDiscovery projects, and providing strategic guidance to optimize legal processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of legal project management and a strong background in eDiscovery and legal technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of paraprofessionals, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of support on client files and mandates.
- Oversee the implementation and management of cutting-edge legal technologies in collaboration with the AI Committee.
- Project manage complex eDiscovery projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Provide strategic guidance to optimize legal processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Ensure proper training and professional development for the paraprofessional team.
- Collaborate with various departments, including IT and legal teams, to ensure seamless integration of legal technology solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in eDiscovery and legal technology.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience as an eDiscovery practitioner.
- Strong background in legal project management and eDiscovery.
- Proven experience in managing and leading a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in legal technology tools and software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a law firm or corporate legal department.
- Certification in eDiscovery or legal technology.

Reporting Structure:
This role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is a senior member of the Professional Support team.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 per annum and comes with a competitive extended health benefit package and four weeks vacation. Following probation and training, hybrid work options are available.
