Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Accounting Manager to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions of the firm, including trust, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and regulatory reporting
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports
• Prepare budgeting and forecasting functions
• Work closely with partners and lawyers to ensure accurate and timely billing and collections
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a law firm
• A degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field
• CPA Certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, Acumin preferred
• Experience with electronic billing (Ledes files) an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000. The final agreed-upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
