MacCallum Law Group LLP is calling for a motivated, caring, and organised team player to join our firm in our busy Estate Planning, Probate and Administration team.
Primary responsibilities:
• Support our Lawyers with our probate, estate administration, elder care and family law practice.
• Manage all steps including but not limited to, client intake, preparation of letters, affidavits, and disclosure statements for both probate and administration applications.
• Prepare and file probate applications with court registry.
• Deliver great client management and service.
• Handle associated files and administrative tasks with the support of our administration and accounting teams.
• Provide backup support to our busy real estate and estate planning teams and assistance in will signings from time to time.
To be considered for this role you will meet the following criteria:
• Prior recent experience with independently handling a probate and estate administration focused legal workload.
• Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, and accomplishing deadlines
• Self-starter and a great fit with our team culture
• Okay with dogs as we have two friendly office dogs (and other waggy tail friends that visit on occasions) who frequently visit around the office.
• Willingness to participate and bring their A game for the Wills and Estates team at our Clan Tournaments.
