Lawson Lundell LLP is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our Vancouver office. The successful candidate is an enthusiastic, hardworking individual who would like to work in our Accounting Department. The regular working hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm.

Standard Responsibilities

  • Daily and Trust Bank runs
  • Reconcile Bank, Trust, and Credit Card Statements
  • Respond to Lawyer and Legal Assistant inquiries
  • File Opening and Closing
  • Data and Cost Entry
  • General Filing
  • Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a professional environment is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines and solve problems in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Pro-active and service oriented approach is a must
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

The typical salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity. In addition, we offer a variety of benefits, including:
