Mandell Pinder LLP is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our team in a litigation support capacity. This role is ideal for a highly organized and detail-driven professional who thrives in a document-intensive environment and is capable of working with large and complex records sets.

Responsibilities and Duties
Your primary duty will be to support the historians and litigation team through comprehensive document management and production tasks, including:

  • Manage high-volume document workflows, including organization and tracking;
  • Prepare and maintain document lists and productions for service;
  • Respond to document requests and inquiries;
  • Analyze and maintain document relationships and version control;
  • Perform advanced Adobe Pro tasks (redaction, bookmarking, compilation);
  • Build and maintain tracking spreadsheets and databases for project management;
  • Support preparation of litigation materials (trial records, exhibits, briefs);
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of document deliverables;
  • Coordinate with lawyers and staff on requests, deadlines and limitations;
  • Supporting corporate and governance-related projects, as capacity permits.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certification or equivalent experience;
  • 4+ years’ litigation support or paralegal experience;
  • Exceptional attention to detail; strong document management skills;
  • Experience with high-volume document productions;
  • Proficiency in litigation platforms and document management systems;
  • Advanced Adobe Pro skills (redaction, compilation);
  • Strong Excel or database skills;
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet litigation deadlines;
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills;
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment;
  • Demonstrated interest in historical research or Aboriginal law is an asset.
