About the Role

We are looking for a part time Collections Specialist/AR person with at least three years of experience, and ready to demonstrate resilience, determination, and ambition.

Law firm experience considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage and maintain assigned accounts receivable files

· Contact clients and debtors to collect outstanding payments

· Review client accounts to identify delinquent payments and prioritize collection efforts

· Arrange payment plans in accordance with firm policies and legal guidelines

· Monitor payment plans and follow up on missed or late payments

· Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations in British Columbia

Qualifications & Skills

· Completion of a diploma or certificate in accounting, or a related field preferred

· Previous experience in collections/accounts receivable is an asset

· High level of attention to detail and accuracy

· Ability to handle sensitive conversations professionally and confidentially

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal/accounting software

· Strong organizational and time management skills
