A great opportunity for a talented Legal Administrative Assistant.

Sampson Davie Fane Volpiana LLP is seeking a full‐time Legal Administrative Assistant with previous experience to join our team in our downtown Vancouver law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who enjoys a wide range of responsibilities, working in a fast‐paced environment.

We are a boutique real estate law firm offering a professional, dynamic and lively environment.  You will be working with a dedicated and experienced team committed to excellence.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a Legal Administrative Assistant position or similar office role, preferably with a background in Real Estate or Business, with the following attributes:

  • Ability to manage, organize and prioritize work independently
  • Excellent technical skills, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, BC Online, and legal software knowledge
  • An in‐depth knowledge of legal procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including excellent spelling and grammar
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Drafting correspondence
  • Handling file maintenance, including file organization, opening files and closing files
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail; answering client telephone calls and general inquiries, and handling couriers
  • Document production and organization
  • Handling miscellaneous administration & financial duties, including time entry, bill preparation, accounts receivable follow-up, attending to receipt of deposits, completing various accounting forms and maintaining records
