We're looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Family Law Litigation who is motivated, self-sufficient, and comfortable managing their workload independently.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drafting & Filing: Prepare and file essential legal documents such as pleadings (including financial statements and lists of documents), correspondence, and various agreements.
• Court Preparation: Assist with preparing for hearings and trials in both Provincial and Supreme Court.
• Client & Counsel Liaison: Effectively communicate with clients and opposing counsel to coordinate schedules and manage important dates.
• File Management: Handle file openings, closings, and overall file organization, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Deadline Management: Proactively track and manage limitation periods and court deadlines.
• Administrative Support: Maintain lawyer calendars, manage B/F systems, and perform other administrative duties as required.

What We're Looking For:
• A graduate of a Legal Assistant or Paralegal program with at least 3 years of experience in Family Law Litigation.
• In-depth knowledge of British Columbia's litigation procedures and Rules of Court.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Experience with Clio and Soluno is a significant asset.
• Outstanding written communication, grammar, and editing skills.
• Exceptional organizational abilities and a meticulous eye for detail.
• A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
• Proven ability to work independently and take initiative.
