Kazlaw Injury Lawyers is one of the leading personal injury firms in British Columbia.  We are currently looking for a full time Receptionist/Records Clerk to join our Surrey location. 

This position is the perfect opportunity for someone wanting to gain valuable experience within the profession and work with one of the leading teams in the Province. 

Our Surrey location handles the majority of our Sexual Abuse files and these are the types of files you will be working on. 

Major Duties (Reception)

  • Answering phone (transferring calls, taking messages, etc.)
  • Greeting clients, lawyers or medical professionals
  • Scheduling meetings or phone calls
  • setting up virtual meetings in the boardroom or office
  • Drafting authorization forms
  • keeping the reception and boardroom areas neat and tidy
  • corresponding with service providers such as building maintenance, couriers, etc.)
  • Maintaining office supply stock and new orders
  • copying or scanning original documents to be returned to clients or other firm

Major Duties (Records Clerk)

  • Drafting correspondence (document requests) - clinical records, expert files, services printouts, employment files, income tax documents, etc.
  • Drafting Authorization forms and other required documents
  • Scanning and indexing incoming documents
  • Maintaining a reminder (BF) system
  • Trial or Application prep assistance (photocopying, organizing documents, binding, documents, creating indexes, etc.)
  • Assist with organizing documents for medical assessments

  • Detail oriented 
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Reliable and Professional 
  • Prior administrative experience an asset but not required
