Current Position Available: LAA – Class Action
Job duties:
- manage file progression including obtaining relevant documentation and managing settlement process
- draft, file and serve pleadings and application materials
- legal research
- Chambers and Trial preparation
- Point of contact for clients, including obtaining information regarding their claim
- monitor and diarize limitation dates
Qualifications & Requirements:
- LAA Diploma
- Superior organizational/document management skills with a strong attention to detail
- Fact investigation, analysis and problem-solving abilities
- Computer knowledge including MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Internet, Case Management Software
- Advanced knowledge of database management
- Research and legal analysis skills
- Ability to manage work responsibilities in an unstructured environment
- Independent with the ability to confidently make judgment calls and recommendations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and execute deliverables in a timely manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Sound business judgment including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Professional temperament, including the ability to remain calm under difficult circumstances

The typical salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 annually; the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
