Our firm does not honour any cheques … even lawyer’s trust account cheques. All cheques have to wait to be drawn on until 6 business days have passed. We just feel it is better to be cautious than have to go through the trouble of trying to clear it all up if something goes wrong. We are also very clear with our clients about the wait.
