Whether you are new to law, or an experienced professional, Fulton is a great place to build a career. We are seeking to add a full-time Paralegal to support our Land Development team. Our paralegals are crucial to the success of our Firm, and we are looking for someone who is not only a team player but someone who possesses superior organizational and analytical skills, along with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of various documents and searches pertaining to land transactions.
  • Reviewing and registering land survey plans with supporting documentation.
  • Facilitating communication and coordination among all parties involved in the transaction, including preparing correspondence.
  • Maintaining an organized bring forward system.
  • Maintaining files and records in accordance with Firm procedures.
  • Undertaking other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Paralegal certification or in the process of obtaining paralegal certification.
  • General Solicitor experience is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of BC Land Title Office registration requirements and procedures.
  • Good working knowledge of real estate terminology, contracts, and forms.
  • Good working knowledge of all applicable online databases – BC Online, LTSA, municipal tax searches, etc.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Exceptionally organized with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
